The investigation into the disappearance of Sarah Salisbury led police to believe she may be in Montreal.
Halton Police had been working with Montreal authorities to locate Sarah.
On the morning of Monday May 16th, Sarah accessed her Facebook account from a public computer. She communicated with friends and family, admitting she was in Montreal and expressed a desire to come home.
Montreal Police were informed of Sarah’s whereabouts and immediately located Sarah to ensure her safety.
Halton Regional Police would like to thank the media and members of the public for their assistance in relation to this investigation.
Sarah’s parents have also expressed their appreciation. Sarah has been reunited with her family.
