Let’s be Livable June 9 Event Invitation

The Town of Oakville is ready to launch Let’s be Livable!  —a Local Community Sustainability Plan and guiding principle of Vision 2057. This plan will create a forum for community leaders to build partnerships and initiate actions to reach our vision of becoming the most livable town in Canada —and we need you!

As part of the public awareness campaign for Let’s be Livable! the town will host an information tradeshow, engagement sessions and fun activities for residents!

The event includes:  

• A free skate 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Two one-hour fun and interactive engagement sessions (10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.)
• A tradeshow for community organizations to provide information for residents to get involved in their community
• Great prizes for participants who visit the exhibitors including an iPad, Via train ticket for two to Ottawa and local gift cards
