Lakeshore Road in our downtown has re-opened! The new streetscape reflects the traditional character and historic charm of the main street while adding new elements such as EV charging stations that support Oakville’s climate action strategy.
A two-metre marketing zone in front of each storefront enables restaurants and retailers to use street space as part of their downtown presence.
And of course, downtown Oakville will continue to host special events and festivals, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy the many activities it hosts each year.
Already beautifully decorated for Christmas, it’s a great time to take a stroll in the new downtown. Shop, eat, enjoy!
