As some of you may have heard the Town and School board removed the playground equipment at Linbrook school last week, without consultation of the neighbourhood. Upon learning of this JCRA asked for confirmation that the Town will NOT remove the playground equipment from Chisholm without community consultation. Councillor Gittings and Bird acted immediately and we received the following from Chris Marks Director Parks and Open Space.

‘In response to your inquiry,  the playground equipment at Chisholm school is owned by the Town. It was updated several years ago and is in very good condition. We have no intentions of removing the playground from that school.’
